Labyrinth

A labyrinth can be used for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation.  It is a single winding path, meaning that you don;t have to make a decision about which route to take.  you just follow the path as it leads you into the centre and out again.  At St Basil's we have built a copy of the Chartres Cathedral Labyrinth, France (built in 1220AD) for the community to use.

Walking the Labyrinth clears the mind, is calming, and can be enlightening.  Labyrinth walking helps us become more centred and relaxed and can be very helpful when making decisions.  There is no "right" or "wrong" way to walk a Labyrinth.  It can be walked by people in a group or alone; children have lots of fun playing on it.

You are welcome to walk the Labyrinth whenever you wish.  If you would like to participate in a workshop to learn more or have any questions, please email us at contact@stbasilschurch.org.au or leave a message on our office phone (not staffed daily) 9310 5665

Alternatively you may use these resources below or follow the instructions on the sign located at the Labyrinth.
